new season of rallyx

will there be another season of rallyx for the erc? i looked at the schedule and saw nothing. also it would be my first time, helmets are still available to rent or something right?

The rallycross calendar will be set at the AGM on Feb 10.

Just outside Devon I would assume. That is normally where events are held.

Hi all the ERC will be back with another season of RALLY X in 2010
The season will be 8 events again running from May till Dec 1 per month
Although not official the location will be at the ERC RALLY PARK on highway 60 south of DEVON AB

FYI, rallycross #5 (Sept 19) kind of conflicts with the Loop Rally in Calgary (unless I have my dates wrong). I know the Loop is technically Sat night to Sun morning, leaving Sun afternoon for rallycross, but having done the loop last year TRUST ME, it'd take one hell of an ironman to do anything useful Sun afternoon (heck getting me, the car and the co-driver home in one piece took everything we had, plus numerous roadside naps).

For the devon rallyx can i just show up, pay a fee, rent a helmet, and after a quick inspection drive? or do I have to attend one of the club meetings and register in the club or something?

just show up to the rally cross in devon, bring a helmet or there is someyou can borrow free of charge, $40 and race your ass off
